Framingham dedicates a middle school to Dr. Solomon Carter and Meta Fuller.

The Fuller family contributed much to society through art and research in medicine. But as a Black family, they faced discrimination when trying to move to Framingham in the early 1900s; neighbors signed a petition to purchase the property from the Fullers in attempt to stop them. The Fuller Middle School in Framingham is dedicated to the Fuller family 86 years after neighbors tried to prevent them from moving in.
